Weight Loss Tips :: Best Weight Loss Plans
Here's a golden Weight Loss Tip for you:
Tracking is Fundamental to the Best Weight Loss Plans
The best weight loss plans include tracking what you eat and a whole lot more. Okay, so maybe it's not the most exciting thing to do every day. In fact, many people ignore it and by doing so they directly undermine their level of success at losing weight.
The choice is yours, however, we strongly recommend you keep a record of what you eat and do every day. This is so important I'm going to say it again: A very hot tip - if you really want one of the best weight loss plans - is to keep a daily log or record of your diet and exercise activities.
Every morsel that goes into your mouth along with the size of that morsel should be recorded. You want to be accurate but also be reasonable. It's amazing how bites of food sneak in and how our estimates of portion sizes are easily distorted.
For example, you've made chili from ground turkey. When you serve it use a small bowl. Instead of a ladle use a measuring cup to scoop out one cup of chili. I like to serve it over ½ cup of brown rice. Again, measure and this time use a ½ cup measure for the rice. This way you know exactly how much you're eating.
Here's a free example of a log for your diet program of losing weight:

Record what you ate and how much. Record your exercise for the day and what other physical activities you included. All these details are absolutely CRITICAL aspects of the best weight loss plans. And you want the best, don't you?
How active were you? Maybe you want to keep track of how many steps you take each day. A good pedometer doesn't cost very much and you can wear it anywhere (well, I don't recommend wearing it in the shower), regardless of how casually or formally you're dressed. Shoot for 10,000 steps a day. You may have to build up to this.
What did you plan to do that day (goals) and did you do it? How did you feel? Were you stressed out about something, or very happy? As time goes on you'll see trends in your eating and exercise that correlate with how you feel. It will reveal when you need to be on your guard so you don't slip back into bad habits that put on those unwanted pounds in the first place.
Record keeping is one of the most successful behavioral techniques for weight loss and maintenance. It's a valuable golden tip for losing weight. And again, you won't have one of the best weight loss plans unless you include "tracking." I want you to be successful with your weight loss. Please keep a record.
